When a table will see heavy use and still needs to be elegant, we like to use artificial stone for the top. This particular table uses
Corian Quartz™. This is an extremely durable material that is simple to fabricate and light enough for shipping and installation. We built this table for a local financial institution. They asked for a table with a substantial amount of wiring. Check out the shot of the underside of the table - this is the typical wire mess you'll find in most modern conference tables. We're never worried when a client presents us with multiple problems. In this case, we gave them the size and shape that would maximize their use of the room, a durable material that's nice enough for clients, and easy access to wiring without a giant mess under the table.
