This table now sits in the newest building at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Ohio. It’s a 14 piece set that can be configured as a big open boat, as shown in the photos, or in any number of other configurations. There are two types of table in the set: 4 with polygonal tops that serve as the ends of the boat, and 10 with a slightly curved top that make up the sides, or can be set up in rows as training tables. Each table has its own custom power/data configuration, mounted in Extron plates. The bases contain casters that allow for easy reconfiguration, and also have wire runs heading in all directions so that the wiring can be reconfigured at will.
